After sharing her poetry and story at numerous events, Sara met Larry Smith, founder of Six Word Memoirs, and realized there was a bigger story to be told. It was then the idea of a Map of Myself, a one-woman show narrating her autobiographical family’s journey of displacement, came to life. Sara turned playwright for the first time and Larry, director! She developed a love for live storytelling and toured her show in over 15 theaters across the United States, celebrating a successful debut that garnered huge support.
